Configuration options

• Calculating holiday and torah reading calculation chooseable for Israel or Diaspora
• Selecting location for calculating times, over 1000 locations available - you can mail me to add more locations
• Calculating begin of shabbat: minutes before sunset on Friday
• Calculating end of shabbat: minutes after sunset on Saturday or degrees below horizon
• Daylight Savings Time, also for Israel (used rule for Israel: start: last Sunday before 2 April, end: last Sunday before Yom Kippur)
• Selecting calculation method for Zmanim
• Selecting format of Molad string ("Weekday, day/night, x hours, x minutes, x parts" or "Weekday, x hours, x x/18 minutes")
• NEW since the version of 1 June 2012: Jewish congregations can integrate their own Shabbat and holiday times (also when the holidays do not fall on a Shabbat) alternatively possible in 24 hour format - these are added by me manually. The conditions for this feature can be requested at me.

  • sof zman achilat chametz (Vilna Gaon or Magen Avraham)
  • sof zman sreifat chametz (Vilna Gaon or Magen Avraham)

System requirements:
Mobile phone/device with graphics resolution of at least 320x480 and a web browser capable of displaying web pages using Offline Application Caching, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets and DOM Local Storage
