Luach sidebar gadget for Windows Vista/7
Please note: if you have the 64-bit version of the Luach, you have to use the
latest version of this website and select in the Options menu that you have
the 64-bit version of Luach installed
Features
- Day calendar view
- Month calendar view of a Gregorian or Jewish month
- Year calendar view of a Gregorian or Jewish year
- By clicking on the day number of the Gregorian or Jewish date
in the day calendar view, the displayed Jewish date in the currently
displayed language is copied into the clipboard
- By clicking on the symbol at the left bottom in the day
calendar view, the today's date is displayed
- By clicking on the blue Magen David Y
in the day calendar view,
the flyout with torah sections,
shabbat times, Zmanim, Daf Yomi,
Mishna Yomit, Halacha Yomit and Yerushalmi Yomit is displayed

If you are online and click on a link which is one of the 54 weekly
torah portions or one of the four special shabbatot
Shekalim, Zachor, Parah and Hachodesh, the text in
Hebrew of this torah reading is shown.
- By clicking on the red Magen David Y
in the day calendar view,
the flyout with Halakha data, also with Molad, is displayed
(in English or Yiddish)

When a green Magen David Y
appears in the day or month calendar
view, the anniversaries, birthdays and/or Yahrzeit (the
names can be also displayed in Hebrew) on the displayed
day or in the displayed month are shown by clicking on it
- The anniversaries, birthdays
and Yahrzeit have to be entered in my Jewish Calendar for
Windows XP/Vista/7 (only if you have 64-bit Windows Vista/7, use the 64-bit version of the
Luach and select the 64-bit radio button in the Options dialog of the gadget);

- Note: For displaying the names in Hebrew, the latest version of
both the Luach gadget and Jewish Calendar for XP/Vista/7 have to be used
- Entering is possible by clicking in the two-month calendar view
on the symbol "sun with menorah" and then on the symbol with the white/black
circle and Magen David)

in Hebrew is displayed in a flyout
