With Desktop Icon Reader, you can associate self-recorded (with
a microphone) wave files to the icons on the desktop.
When you select the icons with the arrow keys, the associated wave
files to the icons are spoken.
Furthermore the programs SHUTDOWN and REBOOT are supplied to shut down the Windows system respectively rebooting the computer, for which a symbol on the desktop can be created.

For installation, run the INSTALL program contained in the archive.
Instructions for operating are in the README.TXT file which can be also
viewed through the program group in which the Desktop Icon Reader resides.
