Installation instructions

Download free the file SmartphoneReader.exe.

After putting the Smartphone device into the cradle start the downloaded
file SmartphoneReader.exe

Copy the Times New Roman font (TIMES.TTF) via Windows Explorer and
ActiveSync from the fonts folder on the desktop PC (C:\WINDOWS\FONTS
or C:\WINNT\FONTS) into a subfolder of \IPSM (Smartphone 2002),
\Storage (Smartphone 2003) or \My Documents (Windows Mobile 5.0)
on the Smartphone device, e.g.
\IPSM\Windows\Fonts or \Storage\Windows\Fonts.
This step is absolutely necessary since otherwise the Hebrew is not displayed
correctly

Now the installation has finished.
Using the program

The program is available under the item Hebrew Yiddish Reader.

To use Palm DOC Hebrew text files, copy them with Windows Explorer
and ActiveSync to the Smartphone device into any directory which you
want. They can be opened with the option PalmDOC Hebrew text file.

Text files in Yiddish (file extension .uyid) are available at
here.
To open these files, you have to select the option Unicode/UTF-8 Text file.
