also with Hebrew letters into a word processor
or with Latin letters into an E-Mail program

Jewish date also in English, German or individual names transcription (for individual names with non-Western European languages, e.g. Russian, a non-Unicode font is needed)

Paste Jewish date in Hebrew, Latin letters or both right-aligned in your word processor, e.g. Microsoft Word

Also paste any Jewish date also in Hebrew into the word processor

Downloading and installing

The Jewish Date Pro Program can be downloaded free of charge by clicking on here (473088 bytes = 462 KB).

To install it, simply start the downloaded file.

Press Alt+F8
Create a macro called JewDate

Copy the following text into the clipboard and paste it into the editor between the lines Sub JewDate() and End Sub:

Selection.PasteAndFormat (wdPasteDefault)
NewPos = Selection.Start
Selection.Start = OldPos
Selection.End = NewPos
Selection.ParagraphFormat.Alignment = wdAlignParagraphRight
Selection.Start = NewPos
Selection.End = NewPos

The path C:\Program Files has to be adapted according to your system.
For Windows 11 32-bit, it is C:\Program Files, and for Windows 11 64-bit, it is C:\Program Files (x86)

Save the macro
Click on File at the left top of the screen, then on Options in the menu on the left.
Then click on Customize ribbon and create a new tab by clicking on New Tab.
Now, select Macros in the combobox Choose commands from: and then add it to the new tab by clicking on Add >>.
Hint: By clicking with the right mouse button on the new tab or the macro item in the tab and select Rename, its display name can be changed.
